Lee Seo-Ha seeks solitude at his grandmother’s home to escape his past and social discomfort. Unbeknownst to him, his grandmother has arranged for a tenant: Shane, a half-bird man who pays in raw gemstones and insists he knew Seo-Ha in a past life. Shane claims Seo-Ha’s true name is Hearth and that he must serve him for three lifetimes to prove his worth and reclaim a place in the heavens. While Shane’s avian features are unmistakable, his credibility remains in question. Seo-Ha wonders why Shane feels familiar despite the uncertainty of his claims.
