Hoping to rebuild her social life, Baek Ji-Yeong transfers to a new high school, but rumors from middle school that she has a princess complex and toys with boys trail after her, and a month in she still has no friends. She feels a connection with Yu Ji-U, who is likewise dogged by gossip, and wants to befriend her, only to give up when she notices Ji-U keeping the whole class at arm's length. Then Ji-U suddenly starts closing the gap between them. As the two grow closer, talk spreads that they are dating, and Ji-Yeong gets swept into a tangle of relationships. Though Ji-U had described herself as merely a friend, she begins acting like something more, leaving Ji-Yeong unsure whether they can stay just friends.
