Ageless and immortal, demons exist beyond the reach of time, hidden from the human world. Immortality can be achieved by killing a demon, but doing so forces the killer to assume the demon's existence. A man who slays his demon lover, a demon trapped in endless self-destruction without a killer, and a girl who communicates with demons are drawn into a dangerous cycle. The balance between mortals and demons shifts as each action triggers a consequence, with lives at stake in a game of replacement and transformation.
