超時空要塞マクロス【劇場版】愛・おぼえていますか
In 2009, humanity is engaged in a conflict against the Zentraedi and Meltrandi, alien species resembling humans. A space fortress named Macross, having traveled to the outer Solar System with part of South Atalia Island, is returning to Earth. During a minor battle, pilot Hikaru Ichijo saves singer Lynn Minmay, and they become stranded on the ship. After returning to Macross City, Minmay is taken by the Zentraedi, and Hikaru, along with officer Misa Hayase, returns to Earth to find their civilization destroyed. A song from the distant past, combined with Minmay's singing, may influence the war's outcome.
