Choujikuu Yousai Macross THE FIRST

A manga adaptation of the first Macross television series was published in Japan in 2009. Presented in comic format, it retells the story of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross with updated character and mecha designs. The series is serialized in the Shōnen Ace magazine. Haruhiko Mikimoto, who served as the character designer for the original Macross, is the artist for this manga.
