Complete Novice

Nogami Hajime plays a VRMMORPG as Ichino, using a system that lets him stay at Level 1, earning the nickname "Complete Novice." Three months prior to the story, a hacker attacked the game, splitting his sister's character data into eight "Memory Fragments." The game company attempted to fix the issue, but the hacker warned them not to interfere, threatening similar attacks on other players. Hajime, along with his father, a game developer, and some colleagues, decides to follow the rules and find a solution. He gathers information from in-game players, while his father examines game data. Together, they work to recover the Memory Fragments.
