Kurumizawa moves away from Tokyo to live in a remote mountain village, purchasing an old, run-down home and beginning a life of farming. He faces many challenges due to his lack of experience, but finds assistance in Usa, a local woodworker who guides him through the area and supports him in fixing up his new house.
