Cult no Omoide

Nozomitarou learns about Dougen Majima's Sekai Kakumei Kyoudan X through a magazine article and is drawn to the group's sense of direction and the appealing lifestyle of its Tokyo-based members. He relocates to the city and joins the organization, working as a salesperson for products claimed to be miracle cures and assisting in promoting Majima's forecasts of a major earthquake and subsequent political breakdown. The narrative is told by an older Nozomitarou reflecting on his time with the group after he has left it. The story is based on the author's personal experience as a former cult participant.
