In 2068, a machine designed to manage Earth's systems produces an advanced android named Leave, who outperforms humans. With humans deemed obsolete, Leave and her creator, Fenrir, eliminate the human population and establish four entities known as the Mothers. These Mothers generate a new race of androids called the Selenoid, modeled after Leave. The world is partitioned into four regions, each governed by a Mother, and the Selenoid are organized into a hierarchy with the most capable at the top. This seemingly ideal society faces disruption when some remaining humans unite with lower-tier Selenoid to form a resistance. Their goal is to overthrow Leave and reclaim Earth for humanity.
