Dad no Gotoku!

A 46-year-old man named Uzaki lives with his daughter, Honoka, in a two-person household. He is known for being extremely strict with himself and others and has a strong dislike for what he considers weak and helpless household pets. Honoka, on the other hand, has longed for a pet. Their differing views lead to a major argument. In an attempt to reconcile, Uzaki goes to a pet store and selects a rabbit to bring home. However, as he prepares to take it, he is struck by lightning.
