Daddy Darling

Hanao Kaji and Ryuuji Mita were close friends before Ryuuji became a single father to his son Shouji. Hanao helps raise Shouji, and their life together is initially happy. However, Hanao begins to struggle with his growing feelings for Ryuuji and the challenges of keeping them hidden. The stress of being closeted becomes overwhelming, leading Hanao to leave in order to avoid complicating Shouji’s life, especially as the boy faces teasing at school. Years later, Hanao returns home to care for his aging father and offers advice to Shouji about his relationship with Hama. This experience prompts Hanao to confront his past and consider his future.
