A manga originating from a 50-page manuscript gifted as a wedding present, it explores a world where a bombing at Comiket in Makuhari Messe in 19XX caused numerous deaths. In 20XX, the "Bookstore Law" was enacted to preserve print culture amid declining forest resources and the rise of digital networks. The law, however, resulted in market monopolies by large corporations and a narrowing of book specialization. As more people began to dislike books, incidents involving books, including crimes and terrorist acts, increased. To address violent crimes in bookstores, a new role called "bookstore administrators" was established, granting them the right to carry weapons. The work received the 25th Seiun Award in the Comic Category.
