The Great Snake’s Bride·大蛇に嫁いだ娘
A young woman named Miyo from a village near an ancient mountain is chosen as a tribute to a giant snake god who has lived there for 500 years. She is to become his bride. Despite her fear that the large, speaking serpent might eat her, the god does not consume her but instead treats her as a wife. He speaks to her with soft words, and his strong body embraces her. Though his appearance is monstrous, the god shows kindness, and Miyo begins to accept the unusual nature of his affection. She contemplates what it means to be the bride of such a creature.
