By the end of the second semester, a new teacher arrives, and the students of the class quickly warm to him, seeing him as a childlike figure they affectionately call Jiro-chan. Kokoro believes the teacher has feelings for her, as he once asked for her help. Meanwhile, Kokoro's feelings are directed toward Fuwa-kun, who strongly dislikes the teacher.
