Vampire hunts are sweeping the United States, reminiscent of historical witch trials. Amid the chaos, a rumor spreads of a mass escape led by Mina Tepes, who allegedly calls on all American vampires to reach the West Coast for a ship to the Vampire Bund. Many vampires, seeking refuge, attempt this journey. However, the Vampire Bund has already been destroyed, and Mina Tepes is no longer alive.
