Dandan Machi no Tokuma to Yome

Tokuma works at a steel mill in Yahata, Fukuoka Prefecture, after the war ends. He marries his deceased brother Giichi’s widow, Mahoko. As they begin living together, Tokuma grapples with the lingering influence of Giichi in Mahoko’s life. He questions whether he can ever escape his brother’s shadow and build a normal relationship with her.
