Date A Live

On April 10th, after being awakened by his younger sister, Itsuka Shidou expected an ordinary day. Instead, a mysterious girl claiming to be a spirit appeared amid a sudden explosion that erased part of the town. She is identified as a destructive force, an alien entity opposed by the world. Two options exist to prevent her from causing further harm: eliminating her or engaging in dialogue. His sister, dressed in a military outfit, suggested an unusual solution: "You should go on a date with her and make the spirit like you." Shidou is shocked by the suggestion. The story begins with this unexpected encounter between the boy and the spirit.
