Dear Tear

A first-grade student named Kirigaya Chikako and a boy named Narita Akito, who struggles with responding to romantic feelings, form the focus of the story. Several of Kirigaya’s admired upperclassmen, close friends, and classmates who sit beside her are all rejected by Narita when they confess their affection to him. Seeking to understand his reasoning, Kirigaya chooses to walk home with him after school each day. The evolving dynamic between the two characters is explored in this narrative centered on love and emotion. The series continues with each volume featuring a distinct subtitle, including "My Dear," "Darling," "To Heart," and "Engage."
