Deawanakereba Yokatta no

Yuzuru struggles with social connections in high school, despite his good looks, due to his reserved nature. He leaves school promptly each day to care for his ill older brother. After many years, he reconnects with his childhood friend, Kotarou, who is outgoing and eager to spend time with him. Kotarou repeatedly invites Yuzuru to join him and his friends after class, even as Yuzuru resists. Torn between his responsibilities and the offer of companionship, Yuzuru must decide whether to accept or reject the gesture.
