Kanon is a reserved office worker with no romantic experience who is unexpectedly transferred to the sales department, home to the three most attractive men in the company. She has remained largely unnoticed at work until this point, but her situation changes when she begins interacting more with Manager Konou. Despite his typically quiet and composed demeanor, he shows her consistent kindness. Kanon becomes intrigued by the way he smiles, a gesture she only sees when they are together. A series of events, including an incident at a welcome party, brings them closer, raising the possibility of romantic feelings.
