A world exists where each person is assigned a Monster Crest at birth that defines their societal status. Rayn is a student at a prestigious school for Monster Trainers, individuals who can control and battle monsters. Unlike others, he trains slimes, which are considered weak, and faces ridicule for it. He remains unfazed, enjoying his time with his slime companion Pem Pem. Ellenia, a top-tier dragon trainer and one of the school's most admired students, holds a strong interest in Rayn, believing he is connected to a form of destiny.
