In 2031, a young elementary school student named Yuma Ashihara joins a beta test for "Actual Magic," the world's first full-dive VRMMO-RPG. During the test, Yuma loses consciousness and awakens in a reality where the game and the real world have become one. The story takes place in this merged environment, where a deadly game begins in what is described as "mixed reality."
