A company named Zionic Co. was working on a new kind of piloted robot, which would later be known as Mobile Suits. These machines used a thermonuclear reactor protected by Minovsky particles for power. To keep the project secure and hidden, the development was transferred to Hosioka, a small steelworks that appeared poorly equipped at first glance.
