Diamond Dust

A young girl is subjected to intense pressure to become a piano prodigy, beginning from infancy. Her family has a history of accomplished musicians, and she is expected to uphold that legacy. Her father enforces a strict regimen, requiring her to practice up to 12 hours daily, or 10 if he is in a better mood. She is required to wear gloves at all times except when playing the piano and is denied social interactions, makeup, and other typical aspects of childhood.
