Diego no Kyojin

A young man in the maritime nation of Spinea practices Onmyojutsu, a forbidden art, drawing the attention of a mysterious woman and the Holy Church. To escape persecution, he joins a research expedition to the New World with his friend Alvaro. The New World features a towering Tree of Gold and forests guarded by colossi. There, they encounter Rera, imprisoned in a water prison. Diego is tasked with using his abilities to free her. When she awakens, Rozen, the woman who had previously attacked him, appears. She controls the colossus "Tankamui." The situation places Diego at the center of a potential conflict between the maritime nation and the native inhabitants.
