A young Japanese man gained fame on Broadway as the actor Hades, portraying Jesus in *Jesus Christ Superstar*. After returning to Japan, he lives an idle life, using his charm and voice to manipulate women. He is unexpectedly confronted by a teenage girl named Lisa, his unknown daughter. Lisa is an aspiring actress currently playing "Maria" in *The Sound of Music*. She resents her father for abandoning her mother to raise her alone.
