Yu is transported to Night Raven College, a magical institution in Twisted Wonderland. Unable to return home, he is permitted to remain at the academy even without magical abilities. After his friends get him into trouble with the headmage, Yu faces uncertain prospects at the school. His chances improve by mediating between two quarreling first-year students and a cat capable of breathing fire.
