Joji Kano works as a detective in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's special crimes division, which deals with major criminal cases. He uses a modified .44 Magnum Ruger Blackhawk as his preferred weapon. Public and media criticism does not affect him. While he shows no mercy toward serious offenders, he maintains a respectful attitude toward children, the elderly, and ex-criminals seeking to change their ways.
