A girl named Maruyama Mahiru returns to a town from her childhood to start high school. The town has changed significantly since it became connected to another world known as "docca" five years ago, allowing various fantastical creatures to appear in the real world. On her first day, school is canceled due to a dragon. While traveling to school, Mahiru meets Kanda Rekka, a senior involved in managing the "docca" situation. He helps her find a prince with no memory of his past or origin. Despite wanting a normal high school experience, Mahiru becomes involved in assisting the prince and joins the team handling "docca."
