Dokonjou Gaeru no Musume

This manga is an autobiographical account centered on the author's difficult childhood, especially as the daughter of Yasumi Yoshizawa, the creator of the Dokonjo Gaeru series. It explores the instability within the author's family during the time her father gained recognition for his work. The manga was nominated for the 21st Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize.
