Zeolith, a boy who dislikes effort, was required to select a vocational title at age fifteen according to village tradition. The titles available to him were the BraveMan, the Emperor, the WiseMan, and the Slave Merchant. He chose the least noticeable one, assuming it would be the easiest path. However, he soon discovers that being a Slave Merchant is both the most powerful and exhausting role for him. He becomes entangled in a harem-like situation involving various women, including a childhood friend, a plantgirl, an elf, a cat-eared adventurer, and a young demon lord, among others.
