Dosei Mansion

In a future where Earth has been abandoned to protect its environment, humans live in a massive ring-shaped structure orbiting the planet at thirty-five kilometers altitude. Society within the ring is divided by social class, with higher floors indicating greater status. Mitsu, the son of a window washer, has recently finished junior high. After his father vanishes and is presumed dead, Mitsu takes over his job. As he begins working, he gains a unique perspective on the different living-room scenes within the Saturn Apartments.
