A boy and a girl form an unusual connection in a world affected by a disease called "Troy," which causes seizures. The only individuals with the ability to heal those affected are the Sisters, who are highly resistant to the illness. Their goal is to find someone completely immune to Troy in hopes of discovering a cure. Elraine, one of the Sisters, contracts the disease, but her symptoms cease when she touches Kiri, a normal-appearing boy. This unexpected reaction raises the possibility that he may be the key to a cure. A one-shot titled Volume 1: Island is included.
