Doubutsu no Kuni

Monoko, a tanuki, discovers a human baby in a world where animals live by the rule that the strong consume the weak. The baby, though defenseless without claws or teeth, possesses the unusual talent of communicating with all animal species. With the threat of aggressive wildcats looming over the tanuki group, Monoko and the baby must work together to safeguard their pack.
