Akira Kamishiro, a successful manga artist, was diagnosed with blood cancer and died in a car accident after a conflict with his mother. Given a chance to choose a new mother and be reborn in another world, he sought a simple, stable life. He was reborn as the only son of a magic shop owner, retaining his past memories. Lacking skill in combat or magic, he was content with his loving family. Later, he discovered he could manifest things by drawing them, realizing he had a unique ability. The story follows his efforts to live an unremarkable life while protecting his peaceful surroundings.
