A middle-school student who struggles with sports, Hiyori Inaba, learns from her father that he was once a ninja. After opening a cellphone box he gives her, she transforms into a ninja with floppy ears. The story is an action fantasy featuring the 12 Zodiac Warrior maidens as they fight the "Demon Bugs," a major threat to humanity.
