Echoes

A high school freshman joins the women's basketball club and becomes drawn to a talented but socially isolated teammate. The two develop a closer relationship as they work toward a national competition. The protagonist faces personal challenges related to gender identity, while the teammate carries emotional burdens from past experiences. As their connection grows, the protagonist begins to experience feelings they cannot openly express.
