Over fifty years have passed since humans were first attacked by the enigmatic life form known as "Mariss." Celen, the pilot of the Heavy Weapon "Black Witch" Destbloom, the only weapon capable of resisting Mariss, is drained by the futility of the war. Before a mission, she is arrested for attempting to flee and forced into battle. On this day, a miracle occurs on the battlefield: a fighter from an unknown origin arrives with a weapon impossible to obtain in this world and defeats Mariss. The humans are inspired. The pilot who emerges from the fighter is identical to Eirun Bazatt, a character from the popular anime "Doll Waltz Requiem."
