Eko Eko Azaraku

A horror manga, it centers on Misa Kuroi, a witch who experiences various terrifying situations during her journeys. The story is tied to the chant "Eko Eko Azarak," which precedes strange and unsettling events in towns and schools. Though largely unknown internationally, the series was highly popular in Japan. It ran for 19 volumes and inspired two sequels, an OVA, two television adaptations, six live-action films, and two video games. A one-shot titled *Hitokui Ichizoku* was included in Volume 19.
