Chuta Kokonose is a typical middle school student who often speaks without thinking and has a tendency to act in socially awkward ways, such as unintentionally unsettling the most attractive girl in his class. A persistent voice in his head adds to his already chaotic life. His routine is disrupted when a figure named Inspector Chips from the space police élDLIVE unexpectedly appears in his locker and offers him a recruitment opportunity. Before being accepted, Chuta must successfully complete an entrance exam that involves capturing a well-known space outlaw.
