Emma

A man visits his former governess and is surprised when a quiet, attractive servant, Emma, answers the door. During his stay, he becomes increasingly drawn to her presence and makes efforts to encounter her outside of her duties. However, societal expectations in London are rigid, and it is considered improper for a man of his background to pursue a relationship with someone from a lower social class. His father intends for him to marry into nobility in order to enhance the family's status. Though William outwardly complies with these expectations, he is privately devoted to spending time with Emma.
