Emma to Hakushaku

Emilia comes from a wealthy family and develops feelings for Dominique, a charming aristocrat from a poor background. He, too, shows affection for her despite her social awkwardness. When she discovers his true intention was to gain her family's wealth, she refuses his marriage proposal. Later, after facing financial difficulties, Emilia withdraws from society and adopts the name Emma. She takes up a job as a tutor and eventually gets a job offer from an earl.
