End of Arcadia

Akihito, a top soldier in the United States Army, leads a platoon and is tasked with retrieving sensitive data due to his subpar performance. During a battle, he and his unit face unexpected defeat, resulting in Akihito being trapped underground with Philia, a high-ranking soldier from the Federal Army and his longtime rival. Both possess the Arcadia regeneration system, making them nearly indestructible and allowing them to repeatedly return to battle after death. Stranded in an environment where regeneration is not possible, the two must work together despite their conflicting personalities and abilities. The narrative follows their forced cooperation as they seek a way back to the surface.
