Enma

In a realm responsible for handling souls, certain individuals known as Enma possess the authority to determine their fates. These figures wield weapons called Judgements to assign souls to either heaven or hell. When a disruptive evil soul emerges, Kouichiro discovers his own Enma abilities and earns a recommendation to take the Enma exam, the first in two decades to do so. He is paired with Chizuru, a figure associated with the intelligence division and known for her sharp skills. Having barely passed the written portion, Kouichiro now faces the practical exam, the outcome of which remains uncertain.
