Garam is a girl who is shunned by her classmates at a small-town high school due to a past conflict with the popular student Jihye. She is treated as if she doesn’t exist. When Sandeul, a childhood friend, returns to town, Garam no longer recognizes him. She witnesses him floating when not wearing his weighted shoes and learns his secret. He asks her to keep it confidential and helps her make friends. In return, Garam finds that being kind to her causes Sandeul to gain weight and remain grounded. The two rely on each other, but must avoid interference from Jihye if they hope to become close again.
