A student named Ha-Je Kang is overwhelmed by ongoing bullying and climbs to the school roof intending to end his life. Before he can act, he is physically pushed by a senior named Si-Un Lee and awakens the next day unharmed. Si-Un is a highly skilled martial artist from the Murim, a secret realm of martial arts. Ha-Je requests training from Si-Un, unaware of the challenges that lie ahead in the martial arts underworld.
