Kyoutarou Yakumo is an ordinary university student with no notable talents in sports or academics. He lacks financial means and desires a romantic relationship. He lives with his younger sister and considers himself unremarkable. His thoughts often revolve around girls and romantic interests. As summer comes to a close, he reflects on a certain girl who may or may not have entered his life.
