Seri Tainaka is a manga artist known for one successful work, "To Hell and Back," which was well-received but not followed by further achievements. After meeting her new editor, Sumire Futami, Seri is surprised by the editor's unusual personality and intrigued by her enigmatic nature. Futami appears to keep secrets about herself. As the two collaborate, they begin what is called their Fatale Game.
