A young noble, the son of Lord Byron from Chalphy, must defend his homeland after bandits from Verdane attack when Grandbell's military is absent. Determined to rescue a friend named Edain, he gathers what forces remain to confront the invaders. However, his efforts will set in motion a series of events that bring serious consequences for Grandbell.
