A high school student named Toujou Ryoichi lives an ordinary life with no drama or excitement. He is chosen to test a new system called "Flagger," which allows users to experience a life like the protagonist of a romantic anime. Through this system, Ryoichi hopes to win the affection of his secret crush, Satou Keiko. However, after beginning the test, his parents unexpectedly move abroad, and unknown girls start living with him. His relationship with Keiko ends dramatically as a result of these events. The series includes two additional chapters beyond the main story.
